Go Sailing Chicago now has 3 locations!

2 of our boats, Sun of a Sailor and FINS, are located in Monroe Harbor, where the lake meets Monroe Street, right downtown Chicago. Mystify is located at Dusable harbor, right next to Monroe Harbor. Obsession is located at Belmont harbor farther north along the lakeshore.

If you are using direction services like googlemaps, please use 400 East Monroe St., Chicago, IL 60603 as your destination for Monroe harbor,111 N. Lake Shore Dr, Chicago, IL 60611 for DuSable Harobr, and 3600 Recreation Drive, Chicago, IL 60613 for Belmont Harbor. 

PLEASE PLAN IN ADVANCE AND ALLOW EXTRA TIME TO PARK AND MAKE IT TO YOUR BOAT ON TIME!

FOR MONROE HARBOR:

Once you arrive at 400 E. Monroe, you will be standing right in front of the Chicago Yacht Club. Turn left and walk along the Chicago Riverwalk footpath for approx.100 yards and you will see a small pier sticking out. You made it! One of the Go Sailing Chicago Captains or Crew will be there awaiting your arrival.

Be sure to watch out for bikers, runners, etc. on the footpath!

MONROE HARBOR PARKING:

We recommend using the facilities at Millennium Garage underground parking lot www.millenniumgarages.com.

FOR DUSABLE HARBOR:

The directions to DuSable Harbor are almost identical to Monroe Harbor as they are right next to each other. Follow the directions to Monroe Harbor...once you arrive at 400 E. Monroe, you will be standing right in front of the Chicago Yacht Club. Turn left and walk along the Chicago Riverwalk footpath/bikepath for approx. 100 yards and you will see a small pier sticking out.  KEEP GOING! Pass the big blue ship (Columbia Yacht Club) and you will see the docks for DuSable Harbor. Follow the gates down the row, listed alphabetically, and head for C dock. You will be given the gate code in your confirmation email.

DUSABLE HARBOR PARKING:

We recommend using the facilities at Millennium Garage underground parking lot - www.millenniumgarages.com - just like you would for Monroe Harbor.

FOR BELMONT HARBOR:

From the North: Use Lake Shore Dr South to Irving Park Rd East. Go under the Lakeshore Drive overpass and follow Recreation Drive down to the parking booth (past the tennis courts and stop sign). 

 

From the West: Use Irving Park Rd eastbound and follow the directions from the North! Pretty simple.

From the South: Use Lakeshore Drive northbound to the Recreation Dr exit. Turn right at the 3-way stop and head toward the parking booth. Proceed past the booth about ¼ mile and park as near as you can to the dock

BELMONT HARBOR PARKING:

The parking lot is located right next to the slips at the harbor. Once you pass the tennis courts on the left and pass the bike path, you will come to the parking gate. You’ve arrived! You’ll receive further directions in you’re confirmation email prior to your charter.
