Rescheduling and Cancellations

Rescheduling 8 days or more before your scheduled Chicago sailboat charter will incur a charge of $25 and be subject to availability. 

Rescheduling 7 days or less will be considered a cancellation and you will be charged the full amount of your charter.

Cancellations are confirmed only when acknowledged by a managing member of Go Sailing Chicago and must be made 8 days or more prior to your charter or lesson.

PLEASE NOTE: For special events including the 4th of July and The Chicago Air and Water Show weekend will incur a 10% cancellation fee as these times are highly valuable and are offered only once per year. These charters must be rescheduled or cancelled at least 15 days or more prior to your charter.  Any attempt to reschedule or cancel 14 days or less will be considered a no show and you will be charged the full amount of your charter plus 10%.

Your Go Sailing Chicago sailboat charter may be delayed or even cancelled due to inclement weather or severe maintenance issues that arrive at the last minute.  If we see bad weather on the way we will call you as far in advance as possible.  Granted, predictions are just that, predictions.  Only if we feel the weather is unsafe or if there is constant rain will we reschedule or cancel a charter.  No fee will ever be charged for a cancellation or rescheduling by us.
